The agent has Dean in custody, and is giving him the usual spiel, but Dean is scared because he knows Sam is coming for him and will kill anyone in his way. Which he pretty much does, IIRC. I think it was wincest (possibly dub-con) but could also be gen, I don't know for sure. Any help much appreciated!

I just need to rant briefly, excuse me. It's not going to last long. Here goes.

I have two jobs, and yes, they both are afternoon and evening jobs, which means I can get up late. But I have to be hyper-aware at six pm, which is when I teach the kids groups, and so it can't be late in my day, it needs to be the middle of the day for me, so I can dance and jump and sing and enthuse about present perfect.

I study two different subjects (technically, three), have an MA in-progress and a bunch of projects I'm working on, including trying to figure out new software for editing dubbing and voice-over and subtitles and generally working with strange new things.

I am reading seven books at the moment, and all of them are for school or the MA. I am watching 32 tv series currently, and I'd like to point out that YES, tv shows were how I taught myself English, so it's not a weste of time. I am writing NaNoWriMo and averaging 2500 words a day or so. I had one free day this month, and my next free day will fall on the freakin' Christmas Eve. I have social life and I actually meet with people other than online, which had been my mother's pet complain for years now.

And I swear, if my mother calls me lazy one more time, and tells me that I basically do nothing for days, I'm going to scream.

I don't get angry often, but FUCK IT.

So I read this story ages ago, but all I can really remember is that Sam and Dean started a relationship with each other, but Dean wasn't interested in Sam sexually because he'd raped in the past (i think). I do know that they stayed in a cabin that belonged to Sam's friend because Sam was really worried about Dean. The fic was pretty long, if I remember correctly.

In other news, is anyone ever going to event a new format of movie trailer that isn’t 'really quick cuts that slowly speed up as the music reaches a dramatic crescendo, until gradually it's just flashing one-second shots to make the movie look really exciting, and then sudden silence and blackness followed by a loud dramatic last shot'? It’s getting kind of boring.

Also, this bugs me so much about post-apocalyptic epics: the men always look like you’d expect them to look cleanliness-wise, but the women are still perfectly groomed. I guess to pluck your eyebrows all you really need is a Swiss army knife and some downtime, but where are they getting all the shampoo and blowdryers?

The boys were captured by Henrickson and while being held they kiss and Sam kills Dean so they aren't separated. Please help find.

Someone asked about withdrawal fics recently and it made me think about this fic I read probably about a year ago.
Things that I remember:
- Dean ends up in an AU where he never lived, or died in the fire, or sth (probably because he thinks Sam would be better off without him).
- AU-Sam is a pretty severe alcoholic, and generally a mess.
- They go to Pastor Jim's (possibly Bobby's but I don't think so) for research.
- Dean puts AU-Sam on cold turkey, which nearly kills Sam. Jim interferes and they start trying to wean him off slowly.
- At some point Sam goes to a rehab facility, I think.

Some months back I read a J2 story based on The Big Bang Theory and now I can't find it. Could someone possibly hopefully point me in the right direction? :)

So, I decided to check out audiofic and the few I've listened to so far are read at a slower cadence than what I like. Maybe it's because I myself read fast and so that is what I want to hear, IDK.

Anyway. So what I am looking for from y'all are links to specific audiofics, or to particular readers that read a bit faster. And I don't mean hasty and sloppily read, just that the reader's voice is a bit faster, more crisp instead of slow and drawn out. For example, people from the West and East coasts usually talk faster than people from the South or the Midwest.

I'm looking for a story I read a millenium ago. I dont remember the name or the author, all I remember is this:
Sam and Dean keet sharing rooms (as they do) and Dean keeps picking up girls and bringing them back to the motel, where Sam was, and he would pretend to sleep or be woken up by it.
There's a fare few one night stands, and in the course of it Sam realises Dean likes anal play, and that he's a bit of a bottom because of one of the girls and him overhearing.
One thing leads to another and I think at some point they share a girl?
Then Sam confronts Dean and the get it on.

1) I'm looking for a specific fic that I think I read on fanfiction.net and can't remember the title or the author. It was a high school fic where Dean was dating (or knew?) this girl at school and she knew about how broke he and Sam were and called him a loser. She tortured him and made him humiliate himself and stuff for money to take care of Sam. I don't really remember any more specifics except that she was always putting him down and calling him a specific now.

2) Any story that involves Dean and Amanda Heckerling (the girl from After School Special) besides the one that was recced already (Revenge)

3) Any fic where Dean and Sam both take care of a kid on the road. Not domestic, not their actual child.

*hands* You know all the actors that are part of Supernatural are freaking awesome. So many hilarious moments from ChiCon like the Richard/Misha pumpkin undies incident, Traci being hot and cheeky, Jim signing autos for 7.5 hours.

And then there's Jared and Jensen. Watch the videos, and just soak in these two guys talking with passionate about their work, goofing around with each other, and showing how genuinely they seem to like us.



I know many of you find watching Con vids hard due to embarrassment squick, but I have to say these are really low on the squick scale. Also spoiler free!! Please watch, they'll make you vomit rainbows ;D

Each vid has some real gems. The first panel one has this lovely moment when someone asks about "all this ending" and Jensen, without missing a beat, says "well this (meaning the Cons) doesn't have to stop." And then both the boys really speak beautifully about the relationship between us and them, and all of our relationship to the Show.

I adore it when they talk about Sam and Dean, and about acting. I really get off on people being passionate about something and these clips are full of that. Moments when they each slip into character, when they sound as invested in the characters they play as any rabid Sam or Dean girl, when they talk about the job of acting, and when they each talk about working with Kim Manners. And Jared and Jensen's relationship here shines - I can only wish I one day have a friendship like this.

I am usually a cynical old bitch but damn our show, and our fandom, are amazing.

I've had a couple of really rough days and so I decided to turn to you for a pick-me-up *g*.

I'm looking for stories in which Dean is hurt or sick and Sam takes care of him. I'll take J2 as well (Jensen hurt/Jared comfort). Any rating is fine. Gen or wincest, short or long, it's all good. Whatever you have, I'll take and be eternally grateful.

Bonus if Dean feels unwanted or not needed (maybe tries to leave for Sam's sake) and Sam has to convince him otherwise.

I haven't come across any fics like this, but I'd really be interested in reading one. Has anyone read any fics where Sam and Dean discover that they have an older brother? I'd be especially curious to read something where Dean has to deal with being the younger brother--not always the one in charge and maybe someone being protective of him for a change.

I remember a specific fic where Sam and Dean were living together during Standord years, and Sam and Jess were together and maybe even engaged. Jess finds out that Sam and Dean have a sexual relationship and have had for a long time, I believe.
